A safe environment enables kids to feel welcome, nurtured, and cared for as they grow to be young followers of God’s Son, Jesus Christ. A fun and engaging atmosphere in a small group setting allows kids to participate in Bible activities, singing, & prayer time. All our volunteer leaders are required to complete Plan to Protect (a Canadian Protection Plan for children, youth and those that work with them)

NURSERY - Infant - 35 months: Sundays at 9 & 11 AM The nursery is equipped with age appropriate toys and furnishings and also includes a quiet room with privacy for moms. Screened caring volunteers (Plan to Protect) are trained to understand the needs of children and appropriate response. A “numbered paging system” provides a safe method of checking in/out children. The pager is also a convenient and effective manner to signal parents when required. Each child will enjoy playing in a space that is set up with their safety as a priority. Leaders and assistant will interact with them through age appropriate Bible activities & story time, singing, colouring and snack time


PRE-SCHOOL - Ages 3 to 5: Sundays at 9 & 11 AM As children get older, more structure is introduced. Children begin their morning with free play, then move into their group to participate in singing, interactive Bible stories, craft, prayer time and snack. Children will have lots of fun through activities which reinforce what they learned about God’s word. WEE-COLLEGE - Ages 3 to 5 : Mid Week (September to May) WHEN: Wednesdays at 7 - 8:30 PM Wee College is a program which provides a solid foundation of faith for your child’s spiritual life. It is an age appropriate discipleship program for children designed to develop strong Bible-based beliefs in those young formative years of a child’s life. Songs, crafts, scripture memorization and Bible-story help accomplish these goals.

ELEMENTARY - Grades 1 - 6 : Sundays at 9 & 11 AM Kids get to participate in their very own worship time in a fun and engaging atmosphere, Following worship time, kids move into small groups where age-appropriate Bible lessons and scripture memorization are taught helping to understand more about God. Our volunteer leaders are committed to making a difference in the life of each child by leading them to Christ. When dismissed, children are to be picked up by a parent or an adult (18+) who is known to them. BG Clubs Grades 1 - 6 : Mid Week (September to May) WHEN: Wednesdays at 7 - 8:30 PM Boys and Girls Club A mid week break from the week’s routine! This fun and interactive program is designed to help boys and girls know Jesus and His love for them. The evening includes a variety of Bible learning; fun activities; gym time and sweet treats.

Day Care

GREAT BEGINNINGS CHILD CARE CENTRE Great Beginnings is a licensed childcare center serving children 15 months to 5 years of age. We are a full day program open from 7a.m. to 6p.m. Our center is licensed for 68 children and our mission is to reach out to the community.

Plan to Protect® is a Canadian Protection Plan for children, youth and those that work with them. The priority is abuse prevention and vulnerable sector protection.
